An amazing experience of a beautifully crafted meal! Alexandre Grégoire was on staff that evening which made the experince phenomenal. We started out with the Marinated Sea Bass and Gnocchi which both melted in your mouth. The gnocchi were perfectly buttery.
The main course, a special for the night, of steak and lobster was incredible. In my excitment I cut the steak with my knife upside down, but didn’t even notice as it was increasibly soft.
We finished the night with a dessert of Chocolate Soufflé and a Fig Tart, both of which were amazingly good and amazingly different. The figs paired with roasted pine nuts had a wonderful earthy and crisp taste. The soufflé was incredibly rich without the sweatness of milk chocolate and without the bitter taste of dark. The addition of vanilla ice cream was perfect.

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending time at Rivea to celebrate our 15th Wedding anniversary as well as my return from an overseas combat deployment in 2017. We reserved a table a few months in advance and requested strip-view seating along the windows of this very high floor located restaurant. The hostess expeditiously sat us down and the view from our table was AMAZING. Our dinner date was on the 4th of July at 9pm, so we would see all the fireworks going off across the Las Vegas landscape. This continued for hours and was great entertainment. In addition to the great seating location and scenery, the food was absolutely OUTSTANDING. My wife and I each ordered the tasting menu paired with wine. The lobster risotto was the best risotto dish I have ever tasted in my life. The halibut and filets were cooked to perfection. I had never tried octopus before, but there grilled octopus with sweet bell pepper was awesome. The wine went well with each course and was recharged timely throughout the night. The wait staff was professional, prompt, and knowledgeable. We never had to ask for service; rather, the staff always anticipated our needs and showed up at the correct time to assist us. During our meal, the General Manager, Sebastien Vallet, took time from his busy schedule to say hello and engage us for several minutes. We discussed the outstanding food and service at his restaurant; we also talked about previous world travel events and recommendations for sites to see on the strip. Sebastien’s visit to our table capped out a great evening at Rivea. We ended up staying on site a bit longer than planned, getting a glass of fine champagne in the Skyfall lounge next to the restaurant. Overall, this is my favorite restaurant on the strip (and I have been to every fine dining establishment in Vegas). Top notch service, great location, and high quality food/drink make this a MUST destination for Vegas fine diners. Do not pass this place up! Make reservations early and ask for a strip view!

One of the best dining experiences I've had. The service was impeccable with all staff knowing all about the menu even when asked tricky questions (such as the source of ingredients). The food was fabulous with each course exceeding expectations. Special thanks to Mark my server who made the experience especially personalised. Well done Team!

Menu selections are balanced. Excellent service. Our server asked if there were any food allergies. Perfect atmosphere. Not loud even when full of patrons enjoying themselves. Lobster salad was fantastic. I had the duck and I was in heaven. I was surprised that the portions were not small , considering the style of dining. Dessert menu is good. I recommend the pistachio ice cream. Tiramisu was very light and fluffy. Very comfortable seating. And this has to be the best view of any restaurant in Vegas.
