Lovely pizza for a chain. Thick, fluffy and flavorful. Detroit style.
This is a recipe that I've tasted before in other chains around Florida. Brewer's Pizza comes to mind. Detroit style is increasingly popular and for a reason.
It is a tasty treat with tons of grease to boot and some melted cheese baked on the bottom of the crust.
I didn't opt for any crust flavor the first time and the crust itself was not remarkable this way. I did ordered other times with 'turbo' flavor and it was delicious.
The large is definitely too big for even a very hungry human. Since I was staying at a hotel with a mini-fridge, the box didn't fit at any angle and I had to invent, since it didn't come with any plates, utensils or napkins. The little box in my photo included tons of parm and red pepper packets.
It is definitely a great flavorful pizza to have every once in a while, when you're in a bind with unexpected guests or just don't feel like cooking or going out.
The deep dish is definitely better than the NY style. I suspect better than the thin, also.

Im giving 3 starts because i ordered a pizza and it was dry and on top of that they tipped themselves mofos charge their tip on my credit card when i tip them cash already
