Dirty dive bar. Bartender charged my girlfriend's card twice for her check and a someone else's then when he refunded the check that wasn't hers he just told the other people they wouldn't be charged even though she was the one who was going to deal with waiting for the charges to be taken off her bank account.

Locals PLACE, but very nice to outsiders. Foul language from the patrons. Smoking is allowed.

Slammers is 100% my go to bar when friends want me to take them somewhere "different". Or they straight up ask for a dive bar. Make no mistake, this is most definitely a dive bar. I read reviews that obviously were looking for something else and got lost here.
It's an eclectic crowd nearly any weekend night. Metal songs for a bit, throw in some old country, add in a bit of rap then the classic 80s hair band stuff. If you've never been, I could imagine it's a tad intimidating. The place is small and pretty smokey. Dimly lit and well... your average dive bar.
Any time I've visited, which isn't so much now a days, everyone was very friendly. Or at least open to being friendly toward you.
It's honestly one of the few places I've seen bikers, ghetto kids (of many races), loud ass metal heads and the camo hat country people all hang out and enjoy everyone.
It's not a big place at all and you won't be ordering too many mixed drinks, at least nothing elaborate. Grab some cheap PBR and a few tequila shots and pay your $25 tab.
I left off a single star because it's so, so, so very smokey in there. It's tiny with very little ventilation. I know, it's a bar and it should be expected but I'm an ex-smoker and not the biggest fan of that now.

The Dom is an awesome bartender. Cheap drinks and good music!! Can't go wrong there.

Welcoming to all. Great drinks and good people. Would not recommend to people who do not like a smoke filled atmosphere. Down to earth and great place to play pool or relax and make new friends. Drinks are strong. If they still don't have liquor pitures they should bring them back. Great fun and memories had by all.
