Had a great experience here. Staff is super friendly and the place itself is very nice. The doctor was super helpful and I wasn't there for more than 30 minutes. Not to mention they give a 15% student discount to UL students. 100% would return.

Read all the reviews of the walk-in places in Opelousas and Carencro and decided to drive my sick son down here to find out what was wrong. Three people walked in seconds before us and it was still only about a 5 or 6 minute wait. Everyone was very nice and attentive. The doctor did a thorough exam and ordered a few tests. 10 minutes later we had a definitive diagnosis and check out was quick and easy too.

Shane and he staff are terrific. We go to Express Med for every cold, virus, flu, sore throat etc. and they are able to take X-rays in house. We recommend their office to everyone we know. It's so nice not having to wait long and the office is located near the old Lourdes Hospital. This is a hidden gem.
