The most racist bar in the city. I went for a birthday party and was refused entry because my shorts (Walmart jeans cut into shorts because Louisiana is a hot state) were too baggy. As I watched others with baggier shorts and pants who were Caucasian were allowed in.
I heard over other people being denied entry for reasons prior to this visit but to experience firsthand is so disgusting.
Shame on this establishment.
If I could give a negative rating I would.

This place is so racist. They don't deserve a star. They told my friend she couldn't get in because she had a white v neck on, she was going to change into a citybar shirt (the same shirt the racist pig had on) and he proceeded to say you can't get in because of your shorts, and he went in a circle calling out everything he thought was inappropriate. Mind you we all looked nice but since we were black we couldn't get in. Some of our friends were white and they said that this bar is racist and they don't go there because of that. I pray that this business go to HELL, where it belongs!

I really can't get behind this place. If the crowd it attracts isn't unsavory enough, the staff will definitely egg out whatever pleasantness was possibly left for you there. I've given this place many many chances, and it never pans out. On one occasion my friend and I were approached by a bouncer who straight up told us, "We're taking your chairs." And proceeded to pull them out from under us. No further explanation. Another time I was charged 10 dollars for a drink I was told was 7.50, but this was after reviewing my card statements, because it was 7.50 on the receipt I signed. (I didn't leave a tip for this particular drink since it was my last, and it took unreasonably long to arrive given the very small crowd that evening. The pool tables rates are a rip, and that is assuming you can even use one because of the unruly crowds. The requirements for getting in are purely determined by the bouncers' sleaziness that night. To top it all off, you can forget about actually communicating with anyone on most nights, as the crappy DJs brought in always assume that louder is always better. I will not be returning, and I will dissuade anyone I know and meet from going there.
