Used to be a great place, they were friendly prompt, quick, clear about what was needed to be done when Dr Joy Fels ran the place. I took my 1 1/2 year old yorkie in december around 8:40am, receptionist told me that the doctor wont be in until 9:30am so I opted to wait. once the doctor came in it wasn't the same staff (Dr Brown) as before but since i had good experience there before i trusted them and first quote of how much it would cost and if i had the money conversation came up. they did some very basic tests (swabs, fecal, and drew blood) which came back nothing and after everything (mostly waiting with my sick dog) they sent me home around 10:50am then i get another phone call around 1:00pm about my yorkie would be needing a transfusion and it would cost me about $1000 and to ask if i had the money, and the procedures would be done at the emergency clinic she also gave me a option to do the test to see whats going on and transfusion if my dog was in dire need. after about 4:40pm nobody called us. So a concerned family member went to visit the clinic and to see how my dog was doing, they were told that the dog had died around 3:00pm (NOBODY CALLED) it was quite devastating, they put her in the towel i had her wrapped in and tossed her in a black garbage bag. they still didn't know why my dog has died, and nobody called us when my dog died, worst experience I've ever received. and in the end with all that neglected service they send us the bill of the tests that was performed, i don't understand if my dog was in that bad of a shape why wasn't she rushed to a emergency clinic instead of doing tests. least she would have been somewhere that was prepared to handle her throughout the visit, or least give me a call and tell me to rush my dog over. instead they just killed my dog (I don't think that words strong here since i can clearly see she was neglected and ignored not even checked up on since nobody cared to let me know my dog had died.)

Family member was the one to notify me that my dog had died and they also told me they were rushed out of the clinic as if they didn't want people to see what they do there (kill pets, and collect money)

Avoid Dr Brown she really just cares how deep your wallet is, and also don't take your pet in for serious problems, i can say this facility is only fit for grooming, and shots when Dr Joy Fels isn't in. she will have billing conversations with you more then anything, i believe they asked me about costs and if i can afford it about 4 times which money wasn't the issue.

Not only did they almost kill my dog but the "professional" doctor almost kill my puppy during spay surgery but she then called my friend a horrible name. Horrible people work here. Can't wait for this place to close down.

The doctor took my pet in as an emergency new patient and was very thorough. She went above the call of duty and didn't charge me extra. It made me feel like she put her patients' health first before profit which I've never experienced in a vet until now. The staff was also extremely kind and friendly.

She basically killed our family cat of 12 years. Very vibrant cat with a lot of life left. Can't even get a response from her. Do not use Dr Leslie Brown if you value your pets life!!!

The best vet I've ever been to. Their knowledge has been spot on so far for our 2 dogs. They have low prices and don't push extra services on you. They are super nice as well. I live in DC but get my dogs checked here when I'm back in town just based on how great they are.
