The absolute worst healthcare experience I've had in my entire life. I have visited twice and spent less than 10 minutes with the nurse practitioner each time. Received no referral for the specialist that I required. Two months later my wife gets a call from them saying that my insurance was not active (which is untrue) and that I now owed them almost $300 for procedures performed in the office. Avoid this place at all costs.

Absolutely unprofessional service; make sure you get all your charges in writing, they have come one year later saying I still owe them money. On top of that, when I went to get my blood test results, she couldn't find them. (??) Not going here for treatment ever again.

I also had a bad experience here at this location. When my insulin number were high she told me to immediately cut out all carbs and eat only eggs, meat, beans and veggies. This was a very unrealistic approach to my issue of being Borderline Insulin Dependent and it scared the hell out of me. She also told me that I would forever carry the Human Papillomavirus but failed to mention that your body naturally fights it off within two years. I found out myself by googling it. Sad place. Don't go unless you have to!

I am a veteran. I went there to get a new prescription for my PTSD medication. The physician told me it was going to take a long time for me to get better and that she would give me information of a psychiatric doctor in Lenoir City. On my way out I remembered she hadn't told me about the doctor. I asked through the receptionists window and she shouted back at me to "Just go get your medicine!"
I am a veteran. I went there to get a new prescription for my PTSD medication. The physician told me it was going to take a long time for me to get better and that she would give me information of a psychiatric doctor in Lenoir City. On my way out I remembered she hadn't told me about the doctor. I asked through the receptionists window and she shouted back at me to "Just go get your medicine!"

Worst healthcare provider I've ever had the displeasure of coming across. NOT a doctor, but rather a Nurse Practitioner. My wife and I went to Irina Abrams for separate reasons (physical, cough) at different times and the only thing this "doctor" had to proscribe was to cut milk out of our diets. Apparently, milk is the root of all that ails every patient.
After my visit, where I brought a form to the receptionist, the aid, and Irina and detailed to each exactly what services I wanted billed, I left and was later billed for services I did not request to the tune of $78. I called them to dispute this, and was condescended to by one of the rudest receptionists I have ever met. She then proceeded to bill my HSA card fraudulently. It took four days of calling (having my calls ignored), then demanding a refund of the fraudulent charges in-person, and having to talk to Irina, the nurse practitioner, informing her that I had filed the charges with my HSA company as fraudulent for them to refund the sum from my card, but they issued a paper bill instead.
In considering a small claims court suit, I was looking in my files for the very form that this business ignored. There, I found confidential medical information of ANOTHER patient about a Cervical procedure that the office had faxed to me from a previous visit, accidentally. This is a clear violation of HIPAA. This is by far the most unethical "medical" service provider in Knoxville. Stay away.
