Just spent afternoon running down by the river on what I had hoped to be a great riverside trail. It has a look of great potential but really appears to be a forgotten cause. Such a shame.

If you're visiting kansas city for the first time, visit the Plaza for a nice evening and then head to either the power and light district or west port for where the party's are at. During the day you can do a lot in the area from shopping at the crown Plaza or seeing science city with the kids. You should definitely come during a game at the sprint center, with many food establishments in the area you'd never have to eat at the same place twice.
