I wish I could give Anton's another star. Everything was amazing. The server was very friendly and quick. The butcher in the back took time to talk to us and even gave us free samples of sausage. The steak was fantastic and that is, hands down, the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had in my life. Will have to visit again next time I'm in KC.

We had an 8 course meal here a few years back for Valentine's Day and it was amazing! I wish they'd bring that back.
They have a great selection of wines and beers, as well as a nice patio out back to enjoy those. The menu seems to change often to keep a variety and its usually pretty good.

Overall I was impressed by the food, beer selection and decor. I ordered a ribeye and it was amazing. No need for steak sauce, as it was seasoned perfectly. There is a big variety of beer, service was quick. I was seated upstairs and noticed the artwork on the walls was for sell. I would eat here again.

Awful service. We walked in on a Sunday evening and were nicely greeted at the door, though the hostess let us know we could sit at the back patio, but they wouldn't serve there, so I'd have to carry my food or drinks there. We were guided to the bar where the only bartender seemed annoyed by our presence.
She was unfriendly as she brought our drinks, I asked if it was okay to bring it outside and she immediately reminded me that there would be no servant there. After that, we ordered a cheese plate and I felt like a true fast food patron carrying my own tray out to the patio. White wine was chilled, so that is a plus.
A couple of the cheeses in the plate were colder than they should be, but that's not worse than how the same bartender was unfriendly, almost harsh, as she offered us the bill. Too bad I had this experience before I could try one of the house's famous steaks. Guess that's not happening.

We were passing through and wanted to eat somewhere local and good. We found this restaurant online and the reviews were positive. It's a trendy place and you need reservations. The food is very good and a bit expensive (but maybe not for such high quality). I had braised oxtail and steak. Everything was great. They also have craft beer. The venue is quaint and tastefully done. The restrooms are down one flight of stairs. One criticism is that I was required to give them my credit card info with the reservations, and they said I would be charged $20 per person if I didn't show up. That seemed a little Draconian to me. The person that took my reservation said they were having trouble with people not coming after reserving a table, which was costing them money since they have limited seating. Still, I'd recommend the place if you're looking for a trendy dinner, alone or with friends.
