They are criminals! They only fix cosmetic damage to your car and lie to you about any other damage to your suspension or drive train. Once you drive off and find that your car is shaking or making noises. You can't take it back so you will have to pay out of pocket for those repairs. In my case I paid 500.00 deductible and had to turn around and pay almost 1300.00 to fix the suspension on my car. They simply can't be trusted. Take you car to the dealership you got the car from.

They are an unethical bunch of people. They cheat people out of there money by denying claims. If you have them run fast before you to are screwed.

Progressive really really impressed me. I will switch to them just because of this experience.... My mom hit a deer Sunday I called Monday went to the device center that same day and they had an adjuster on site and cut her a check within an hour for the repairs!!! What a great efficient company!!!!

Customer service was excellent. Communication was good but the process in which the repairs were to be made were a little misleading. I was under the impression Progressive had there own body shop that would complete the repairs. They don't. They actually use a local dealership to perform repairs. The quality of work is poor at best. Word of advice, take the check and find your own repair shop.

Progressive is not my insurance agency but I have been dealing with them through someone else hitting my car and filing a claim through his insurance. I already had a police report and quote on my car which the damages were only $1,344.45 so I did not think this would be a hard process seeing that i didn't need a whole lot of money. The agent assigned to my claim tried to make me in some way say it was my fault by saying that usually in my situation both parties are at fault and asking me what kind of lights i had on. Thankfully I already had a police report stating other wise. It has now been two weeks and I have received one phone call from Progressive in total and they would not return my phone calls or emails. This process has been such an inconvenience. Not only were they giving me terrible service but they also never contacted the other party and made me contact them to call them to give them his report on what happened. I will NEVER switch to Progressive nor recommend them. I am glad i pay more money to have my car in the hands of a personable insurance agent at Shelter Insurance.
