Great food, great atmosphere, great drinks! This bar is a fantastic local place with amazing food at moderate prices. The service is slow every once in a while as goes finding a place to sit, but if you avoid the prime lunch rush, it's incredible to eat at!

My husband and I live down the street and eat here weekly. I've probably tried just about every single thing on menu and am never disappointed. The building is great and the pizza slice is basically two meals. Service is great, everyone is friendly. The bartender is super nice and makes a mean old fashioned.

Love this place. Cool building. Open space. Food is dynamite. Service is friendly and quick. Good beer picks. Skip the chains and do this KC original. Pizza is dynamite. Best turkey panini Ive ever had.
I would suggest trying to sit on the first floor or the bar vs. the slightly cramped second floor though.

Good selection of craft beers and full bar with good selection of craft spirits. Pizza is good. Not ensnared of their sandwiches. Service is good and bartenders solid if a bit surly at times. Main reason I knocked stars off is owner is temperamental and prone to yelling at his staff in front of customers during service. Also has been rude or unaccommodating to his customers. Has his policies for eating in and taking out and they are frustrating and confusing to guests.

If you're downtown and craving an excellent sandwich or slice of pizza, this is your stop! First time visitor and will be returning! On the recommendation of the server I went with the Milwaukee style Ruben and I'm glad I listened! The corned beef had great texture and flavor. The grain mustard and house kraut added a nice kick to the sandwich as well. It all comes together for a well rounded sandwich! Went with the side of German potato salad and it had excellent flavor as well. Good compliment to the sandwich.
My partner in crime went with a slice of pizza and my oh my was it a giant one! Once slice fills a normal pizza tray! The toppings we're fresh and the crust thin and crispy, just how I like it! Plenty of beer choices to wash the meal down as well!
If you haven't been here, swing in for a bite to eat. Parking is easy as there is an inexpensive garage right opposite the restaurant on Baltimore.
