Small, classic "hole-in-the-wall" kind of restaurant. The chef greeted us as we walked in and encouraged us to try the buffet. My dad and I were not disappointed. Real Southern comfort food. Fantastic fried shrimp and fried green tomatoes.

Just ate there for the first time 10 minutes ago and I will be back! It was all so good and the hospitality was wonderful. All around a great experience. Hidden gem in Jacksonville for sure .

Art is awesome and incredibly nice. This has the best fried shrimp in Jax. If you're health conscious don't bother going because you will be putting on a couple of extra pounds.

Wow.. and wow.. if you love hole in the wall home made punch you in the face with flavor and laced with southern hospitality, then this is the place for you. With a buffet serving you every comfort food known to man kind, chef Art will go one more step and give you a free plate of shrimp and fried green tomatoes on your first visit. This place screams charm and hospitality. Our server Earl has been there since it's original opening. There is a different special every day and just a reminder cash only... #jaxlocalvibes

So much fun! Great "Welcome!" "Welcome!" As we came in the door. "Hot Shrimp!" Yelled by the chef. Yummy and plenty of food.
