Some of the friendliest staff you'll find around. Good drink selection, fair prices and an assortment of bottomless mimosas on weekend mornings

First time in Jacksonville was last Sunday when I went to see the band Born Without Bones here. Was a pretty nice cozy bar and venue. Drinks well priced. Missed it on the bottomless mimosas but hey there's always a next time. This is a place I'm sure I'll return to. Especially if they keep booking great bands.

Only giving a one star to get somebody's attention of a lousy employee. The guy looks like he doesn't want to be there. He's rude to me and my friends every time I come in on a break from work and/or after work. Unfortunately he's the only employee on site too. He slams menus on tables I sit at, and just looks angry at the world. Rain dogs is a very well known bar that doesn't exactly need publicity, but they don't need staff with such a sour attitude to chase off customers either. Get rid of the guy or revamp his personality. Send him to the west side where his personality fits in. It's not for riverside. Love the atmosphere every other way though. Me and my friend tipped the guy 5 bucks off an 8$ bill today and he was still a dick.
