Alarming experience of neglect today. Took a very sick goat in this morning who is drooling and frothing at the mouth and is barely able to stand and can’t eat. She lost significant weight over the weekend due to not being able to drink/eat..The office took a 150 dollar deposit for her exam and any other care necessary for the day. Did not give the goat a single IV fluid, treated her for worms which she does not have and didn’t tend to her all day from all appearances...we asked if they attempted any food or water with her and they said they hadn’t given her anything all day....and told us to take her home this evening in worse condition than when we brought her in for care which she desperately needs. The doctor didn’t give a single clue as to what illness she is fighting...charged us for the antibiotic that turns out is only a worm medication and labs. Called a different vet in Fayetteville upon getting there to find out all of this who without seeing her gave a thorough explanation behind the symptoms and agreed to treat her first thing in the morning....should have gone to Fayetteville in the first place this morning so we didn’t lose another day of this animal being in misery....First time going to this vet and will most certainly be the last.

Staff was very friendly and made me feel like they loved my dog Buster right after meeting him. I felt like he was in very good hands and would definitely use them again. Office was very clean and inviting and I did not have to wait long either. Great experience for me and my dog.

Dr O'Reilly and staff are great. I have 3 dogs and two cats that visit the clinic and it is always a positive experience. The groomer is great also. I worried when Dr. McCurdy passed away that the service and compassion would be hard to match but "The Team" has done a fabulous job. Thank you Dr. O'Reilly

Don't bring Ferrets here! There are much better more knowledgeable ferret vets in the area. Brought in 2 ferrets, doc wanted to perform blood work on 1, urinalysis on the other. Knocked both out, results were delayed, and he sent the receptionist out to relay results rather than discussing them with me himself. He never called or followed up with me even though I had questions and requested it after getting results. Turns out he requested the wrong blood-test to yield useful information, and of course recommended coming back to perform bloodwork on second ferret since urinalysis showed no issues (from the beginning we said 'symptoms' could be behavioral and not actual symptoms). By this time I was done, and started looking for a new vet. For the first time ever, I received the impression that a vet was in it for the money and not actually interested ensuring the best care for my critters.

I came to this vet just to get my kitty a rabies shot and I was going to use my friend's recommended family vet for further appointments, but wowowow. The workers here are kind, caring, and gentle. I had Doctor Shelby and she is super friendly and smart. She taught me a lot about cats and I will be staying with McCurdy Animal Hospital for my kitty's further appointments :)
