Best dining in Huntsville! I believe the chef is from Phoenix's Mary Elaine's (at the Phoenician resort). Fella may be a James Beard award winner.
I have eaten there a number of times and have not been disappointed!

Food is normally excellent and same with the service but today's visit was not so good. They seemed to be unprepared today. They were out of certain dishes at 7:30pm. We were also not told about a substition on a menu item. Again, this was because they ran out of the item called out on the menu. I understand running out of items but at 7:30 on a Saturday night for high dollar reataraunt. Also, I was charged for a called liquor which we didn't ask for.

We arrived around 6:30 PM on a Friday. We were a party of 5. The restaurant was busy and we waited about 15 min. before being seated. The same amount of time we were quoted when we arrived!
The server took our drinks order immediately and returned to take the food order. The food came in a reasonable length of time especially considering how busy the restaurant was. This business is very well managed and the manager visits most tables to be sure the guests are satisfied with everything. (This is not our first visit here.) The food quality is good and I'm sure we will return when in the mood for Italian food.

Wonderful experience here for a birthday dinner. The food was phenomenal, but I came to write this review specifically about our server, who was attentive, professional, and really made the meal fantastic. His suggestions for food/dessert/wine were spot-on and he happily exchanged book recommendations and reviews with us. He had such a great rapport with all his tables. As for the food - it was excellent. You could tell everything was prepared very deliberately and with an eye for detail.

Goodness, my wife Janet and I LOVE this place. Wonderful food and an intimate atmosphere. The staff was on point with their wine recommendations and the entrees were incredible. They were even very helpful in assisting me with having flowers delivered to the table for my bride to see upon our arrival. We last went there a while ago - I had the street taco appetizer and a beef spare rib dish - fantastic! My wife's half chicken was delicious and excellently prepared!
