The displays are wonderful. Lots of interactions for kids. I've also heard their summer camps are the best. The only knock is it's not very assessable for handicap. Unfortunately my mom got stuck on the first floor and couldn't see most of the museum.

I've been here twice now and it's always amazing! The entrance fee is really all you have to pay; the rides and activities are free (food and special photographs cost money), which is awesome. Besides being super fun to explore there's plenty of information to absorb. And unlike other educational centers it's not over bearing. Straight forward information is presented easily and if you choose you can continue for more in-depth details. I would recommend always going in-depth, I was pleasently surprised by how much I didn't know and how much I did once I got into the nitty gritty.

5 stars if I was a child. Unattended children almost everywhere. Could not enjoy museum the way I believe the people who sacrificed life, worked hard, and gave up time with family would have wanted me to. Any attempt to view an exhibit was interrupted with a child running, screaming, or throwing items. While parents are inattentive on cellular devices. I would have imagined I was at a playground had me and my wife not just spent $60.
What I was able to see it is a good museum I would just strongly advise against going during any "school outages."

Really fantastic and educational experience. For whatever reason, our 3 & 4 year olds love it here! We purchased the membership because they keep asking to come back. While the facility sometimes seems empty when they don't have an event going on, there's always staff available when you need them, and it's easy enough to find your way around.

It was a really neat experience for my friends and me. More than half the simulators were down for maintenance and the central exhibit was closed for renovations. We were only in town for work and that was our last day before heading back to Atlanta, so some of the things being closed didn't upset us. We did watch one of the 45 minute IMAX features and were not disappointed in the subject. It's very interesting to find a very scientific space-themed attraction nestled in the northeastern part of Alabama. The food court isn't half bad. My friend said his hot dog was delicious and my fries were solid. We enjoyed ourselves and would visit again.
