Dr. Allison is a great surgeon! He's patient and tries hard to be sure you are satisfied. I love my breast reduction. They are perfect! Would definitely recommend him to anyone! :)

I was so excited about going to my consultation I only had 2 hours of sleep the night before my husband and I drove almost 2 hours to see Dr. Alison. Let me first start off by explaining how small the rooms are and it made me even more anxious. SO I was explained pricing and was all for it until I met Dr. Alison who has no personality whatsoever and didn't even acknowledge my husband's presence. I was very, and I mean very, thorough with exactly what I wanted and how I was paying for something that should be damn near perfect. His exact words "I can't make you look perfect but I can make you look as good as I can." Wow, that makes me really want to go under the knife with your hands on me. I can't even explain his face when he was examining me. It was like he had no clue or he was just unsure about everything. He explained to me that I would most likely need a small lift to achieve the results I wanted for "high profile", $4200 went all the way up to $9000! THAT WAS A DEAL! I should have never gone here. I should have went to Dr. Hedden in Birmingham who does a "Dual Plane/Biplanar" placement and since Dr. Alison went to Vanderbilt, should know what this is. Instead he absolutely tried to just take our money and say "this is your only option, because I only place submuscular". Very black and white. Plastic surgeons are supposed to be artists and know other ways than to cut up someone who is 21 by saying they need a small lift. Apparently, I look like an idiot. He was so cold, rude, and took advantage of us because of where we live. Maybe the other doctors are better, but I would definitely NOT go here if I didn't know what I wanted and you just want to be told what you should do... Doctors are not always right and just because you have a $400 pen in your shirt pocket and a Rolex on doesn't mean you're the sharpest or the best plastic surgeon. If I was really going to pay you almost $10,000, you better tell me that I will look better than ever. Don't waste your time or your money. Do your research and don't let Dr. Alison take advantage of you.

I have got my BS in Info Sys, thus I CAN READ. The operator was very condescending and frankly I do not like the implications that I cannot read or know that I am calling a Plastic Surgeon's office. I have not even been in the office and this woman had the nerve to talk down to me. I am not too sure if she was talking down to me because I am a guy or what, but she needs help with learning how to address people over the phone. Maybe instead of talking down to people she should have asked What kind of doctor are you looking for. By all means please come to my front door and please explain to me how STUPID I AM!
