Beautiful historic building-modern chic interior! From the proximity to Main Street restaurants to great views of the ball park to the mini Keurigs/comfy beds, I would choose this hotel again!

Oh I love The Sam!! I've planned dozens of Weddings here...& this was one of my favs!
Great food and staff, ballroom has a unique indoor-outdoor vibe. Not your traditional banquet /ballroom

Great historic hotel in downtown Houston. Very close to the ballpark and other attractions. My room was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again.

The hotel itself was nice. I like how it had some old-school character with the brick and unique rooms. The surrounding area was not the best (although it is within walking distance of a beautiful church, Annunciation Catholic Church). And I think you had to valet park which was like $30.

Great visit! Very friendly staff. Clean. Prefer a firmer mattress. Would have liked mini fridge in room. Nice view. Walking distance to restaurants and Minute Maid Park.
