I found this restaurant online and based on the pictures and the menu/prices, it seemed to be a good promise.
The atmosphere was pretty good, live music good (a little too loud for us, even though we were seated very close to the entrance and far from the scenario) decoration was pretty good too.
Now...the server was pretty bad! He didn't know the menu not the beers on the menu. He got me the wrong beer and then he blamed the bartender for it...this happened among other things.
With another waiter it would've been a total different experience.

Batanga hosted a 30 person birthday party for me. The service was great and the team super attentive. We were set up comfortably outside on the patio well within earshot of the great Latin tunes. The Latin fusion cuisine was great too. As crazy as it was in Downtown on a Friday, everything went smoothly with getting everyone seated and shout out to our waiters who got our food out quickly with so many orders (30) and being put in at different times. Hats off, Batanga! Will be back :)

This tapas restaurant has a good selection, great price, and really fun. We had a blast! Seafood is the best section on their menu. Definitely give the Fish Tacos, Seared Sea Scallops, and Crispy Calamari a try. Warm and friendly staff. The live band on Wednesdays are enjoyable to watch and adds to the lively atmosphere.

Batanga is a tapas restaurant. The food was very good with rich and unique flavors. The servers were very friendly. The atmosphere is very chill and relaxing. They even have some items on the menu that are made with gluten free ingredients. Overall a very good experience.
