Amazing service from the moment we walked in, by all the staff, especially our servers Gary and Gerald. They seated us with an amazing view, and were even kind enough to take pictures. The food was perfect, and the Italian dishes I have tried were very authentic. Also, they timed the food perfectly; we didn't feel rushed to eat and we were able to enjoy the meal and the beautiful ocean view.

We had several meals at Orchids during our stay at Halekulani so this review covers breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch.
I can say that all the meals were great and the restaurant has flawless service. You can go there for any meal with confidence, but this review will focus on the Sunday brunch.
I am a brunch guy. I've been to brunches all over the US and world and Orchids is one of the best on every level and for the quality, one of the best values and some of the most creative and fresh food imaginable.
Add in the setting of on the beach at Waikiki with waves gently lapping on the seawall and you have one fantastic experience. If you are planning a visit to Honolulu be sure to book many months in advance because the brunch books out weeks in advance.

Came here for breakfast as a family. The food quality is superb I had the pancakes which were probably the best pancakes I've ever had and everyone else really enjoyed their food. The view and restaurant is also great. Two things stop this from being a five star review... The lady at the welcome desk was friendly and helpful but her friendliness and welcome really showed up the other staff who were not friendly and didn't particularly care about being there or serving us. The other we niggle is they charge for filtered coffee despite them not telling you and just pouring in your cup it's not on the menu and tasted pretty bad. Will come back as the food was so good and hope that they've improved on service.
