Went to Hokus for Sunday Brunch. I would highly recommend this if you love seafood! There was an abundance of lobster, king crab legs, shrimps and mussels. Their sushi selection was extremely fresh and you could taste the quality and freshness of their sashimi. The soft shell crab appetizer also very tasty with a light batter and accompanying salad. Dessert selection was also very good with a variety of tarts, Japanese cheese cake, donuts and fresh fruit. Best of all service staff were attentive and the view of the beach and crystal blue waters is breathtaking. It is a bit pricey and further away from Honolulu but worth it for the quality and an escape from the busy tourist strip.

Presentation of food was nice. It wasn't so nice and pleasant after we got sick (food poisoning). People in the party ate the exact same food at Hoku's and all got the same symptoms....stomach pains, barfing, diarrhea. Yet Hoku's management they denied it! It was terrible experience!

Food was decent at best. The $160 red snapper that I ordered was not prepped well. I would expect an outstanding dinner for $160. Next time I'll go out and spear my own fish before I pay their prices. Absolutely overpriced. The only good things about this restaurant in my experience were the staff and the location itself, but the prices will keep me from coming back.

A great place on the island to go lots to see and to do. Had a beautiful Christmas there. Many great dinners and lunches with a beautiful surroundings of Kehala.
