Food quality is indisputably great. But the prices in my opinion are unreasonably high and the menu is confusing.
I didnt nessisarily like it when the chef and two other persons stop by the table to congratulate us on our special occasion, its just too much.

Excellent restaurant ! Fantastic service ! The food is superb ! One of the best experience of our lifetime ! Elegant and exquisite ! You can not ask for more !

Food: perfect! Staff: perfect! View: perfect! We just loved every single detail and every single second in La Mer.
We ordered a 3 course menu, but ended up having 6 courses. Plus, they offer delicious bread (french, beer or hawaiian) with a very nice normandie butter.
Everything tasted wonderfully and the staff was so friendly... what else do you need?

Very nice dinner. My halibut entre portion was tiny, probably 3 ounces. About the size of a credit card and 3/8 inches thick. Super service and very tasty. Just a bit to formal for us.

La Mer has excellent food with the current chef. We've eaten there twice, several years apart. The first time our choices were reversed on every course (I got hers, she got mine). This time the service was world class. The menu is online, so check it out & look at the prices. The dress code is seriously enforced.
