I LOVE this business! They know their stuff and are always helpful and professional to work with. I really value the opinions they share as we try to frame a project so it looks the best it can look.

I have bought 2 oil paintings here, and I have also framed 2 pieces. The framing work is as excellent as the help picking out the perfect frame. I am amazed how much better everything looks now.
For such a small space, there is a wide variety of art. It changes frequently, so I try to visit every 6-12 months. Saturdays they often have an artist painting outside.

Lori went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with an heirloom 'vintage' piece. Having started with a warped wood frame, she eventually gutted it. This involved far more work than my original request to just replace the mat. Ultimately, her goal was to deliver a piece that both her business and the customer could be proud of.
She's passionate about her work and serious about the quality that comes out of her shop. Thank you Lori for customer service excellence!

The Center for Art & Framing was the trusted resource I turned to for framing a valuable collection of rock-n-roll photography memorabilia for a clients' home. Lori did an outstanding job and was so helpful in pulling it all together with me. She is a delightful, hospitable and thoughtful business owner with a excellent eye for detail. My clients were more than thrilled by the result.
Just recently, Lori generously donated framing for a large family photograph as part of home transformation television show helping a local family in need. She didn't hesitate to offer help when I approached her with this request and turned it around in just a few days to meet the needs of this deadline. The finished product is now the beloved centerpiece in this family's newly renovated home.

My experience over the last 20 years at this frame shop & art gallery has been consistently outstanding. The longtime owner, Lori, is an accomplished professional who has an exceptional eye for color, frame and mat options, and a clear intuitive sense of my personal preferences for each project. She is patient and creative, and is always able to accommodate a special request or time constraint. Recently Lori and her staff completed two family gifts for me that received huge praise all around. I love the new look of her shop, full of a diverse collection of work by local artists...something for everyone! So nice to have a local business, in a brand new, beautiful space on Farmington Avenue, that is able to meet the needs of our artistic community with a warm atmosphere and top notch results!
