Carbones is like family to food is delicious it melts in your mouth that atmosphere turn the lights down low romantic and the service on point everyone is pleasant and they always check to make sure you're OK I love it for drinks are awsome

It's has an old but beautiful feel to the atmosphere. The food is delicious and the service was wonderful. Though it is hard to find parking.

Wonderful warm staff. Food cooked exactly the way you want it. Excellent menu. Served in professional personal manner. A perfect dining experience.

Went there for a friends Birthday. Two couples and everyone was thrilled with the service and the food. Both women had salmon and raved about it. Both the men had the rack of lamb special with a blackberry sauce. The lamb was out of this world. We live locally but had a place in NYC for 8 years that we commuted to. There just isn't a better Italian restaurant here or on NYC. Food is always great, service is beyond anyplace in the Hartford area and the table-side preparations are out of this world. If you aren't going to Carbones you should be. If a place could get six stars I'd give it to Carbones.
