I cannot say enough about Chris and her staff!
I planned a 90th birthday celebration at Arugula in West Hartford after a thorough exploration of all of our local restaurants. The food and service were outstanding in every way. We had appetizers, salad, a choice of 1 of 4 entrees and dessert.
The food, service and ease of planning this party exceeded all of our expectations and the intimacy of the restaurant and attention to detail was amazing and appreciated by the toughest critics - New Yorkers!

Excelent food, nice environment, and outstanding staff. Great balance of upscale and casual. I recommend getting a reservation and ariving early as parking can be tricky to find. Menu is a bit niche, but offers items not common elsewhere such as French/Italian soda. The tea menu is a nice touch and worth a look. A good place for a special date or occasion.

Excellent falafel and flatbread pizza. Service was very attentive and helpful. The dishes take a while to come out so seems like everything is made from scratch. Would definitely come back.

Best food in West Hartford without question. Eating at Arugula submerges you in the elegance of a lovely Mediterranean atmosphere.
