I have been using Dr. Cohen for 20 years and have found him, his office staff and nursing staff to be respectful and pleasant. I generally have to wait less then 10 minutes and follow up appointments are made within 2 weeks. Dr. Cohen fully explains all procedures before hand and explains his thinking.

This office is terrible and horribly run. They are always running an hour or more late and then try to rush you out and don't take the time to answer your questions. It is hard to even get a phone call into the office because the line is always busy and there is no answering machine to leave a message. The procedure I was going in for was not well explained and I was not prepared for it. DON'T GO HERE!

Dr. Cohen refused to deliver baby at critical point. I relocated from Washington, DC in the middle of my pregnancy and became a patient of Greater Hartford Women’s Health at the start of my second trimester. Throughout my prenatal care, I was seen by multiple OB-GYN’s that belonged to the practice. This was my first pregnancy and I felt the care was rushed and that many of my concerns were dismissed. However, I figured that I was just having first time jitters and that everything would be ok. At around 30 weeks, I developed severe carpel tunnel and was referred to a hand specialist. I requested my medical records and began the process of setting up an appointment.
At thirty-three weeks, I went into preterm labor at Hartford Hospital. My labor progressed rapidly and the nurse called for my doctor. At that point in time, the OB-GYN entered the room and declared that the office had informed him that since I had requested my medical records, I was no longer a patient of the practice and he would not deliver my son. My husband informed him that I was scheduled for a check-up later that day with the office and was in good standing with the practice. The doctor still refused the delivery and left the room. At that point, the nurse called for assistance from any doctor available and my child was delivered by the staff of Hartford Hospital. The practice later charged my insurance company for the delivery of my son.
After many weeks in the NICU, my husband and I reached out to the leadership of Greater Hartford to lodge a complaint and ask that action be taken. We received a response from their Chief Executive that they were very sorry for the administrative error and hoped that our family was doing well. As you can imagine, we would not recommend this practice. The actions taken by the doctor were negligent and unprofessional. The follow up by the leadership was callous and dismissive. They did eventually refund my insurance company for the delivery services but this was more to avoid insurance fraud charges than as an act of contrition.
