I have been a patient with Morrison Associates for years and have ALWAYS received exceptional care from the Doctors. The staff leaves a great deal to be desired.
I received payroll deduction as a Pinnacle Health Employee which was a great payment option. I was told by the staff that I should call when the bill was paid in full to AVOID overpayment.
I spoke with Karen today who was rude and condescending. She explained to me that she only gets payments once a month. As if I know that?!!!
Be kind to your patients or you won't have a job! I also think that some of the staff has worked there so long that customer service is not important to them. It may also be the demographic and that they treat people of color poorly. I am not sure... it pays to be kind.

After few times I told them the glasses few weird, they said to make another eye exam. I paid. And still few weird, I returned and they said it was the frame... told me to change and convinced me to a more expensive one and continue to few weird, went to another place to check and the prescription was wrong!
They gave me a hard time to fix it, rude emplloyess and after I talk to my insurance how to proceed, they agreed to refund because it was their mistake all along and they were trying to hide.
They didn't refund the whole thing.
Stay away from them!!!!!

Insisted that I give new contacts a week trial period, even though I told them several times that there was something wrong during my initial fitting class. They told me multiple times that it was because I wasn't used to contacts. A week later, it was discovered that they mixed them up... I am still dealing with painful headaches and eye strain from trying to follow their program because they were certain it was just me not being used to them.
Also got back up glasses from them. They insisted on trying something new with them, and it didn't work. When I tried to have that changed, they wouldn't allow me to change other things that were added on because I'd that one thing. The extras make them easy to scratch. I work in a garden center with a tree nursery. Two weeks old and that special coating I needed for their experiment but not normal glasses is easier to scratch.
It took two MONTHS after my appointment to get functional eye wear of any kind.
After being covered by two insurances, I still paid 300 dollars out of pocket. This include a exam, glasses, and a contract fitting class (no contacts) I've paid less without coverage amd gotten more.
I could add that the office smells musty, which, while true, might be me being petty.
Avoid it if you can. These are your eyes folks, go someplace where the staff listens to what you say about your own eyes!

The staff is very welcoming and professional. They have a great selection of frames that are covered at least partially by my eye insurance. The eye exams are very thorough and Dr. Mariscotti is awesome! I drive from Pittsburgh to see her and I will as long as she's there.
