Had to take my cat late one saturday night cause he was straining to urinate. They took excellent care of him and sent him home unblocked and with meds. The prices weren't too bad considering it was an emergency and, actually, the price would have doubled with his normal vet. They took great care of both myself and my cat and actually saved his life that night. They also did their best to give me options and work within my price range. The place was also very clean.

I took my puppy here this morning for diarrhea and vomiting. She was still playful and in a good mood, but she is very tiny so I was worried about her being dehydrated. We were here about 2 hours, and it was fairly busy here. I didn’t mind waiting though because the triage person came to our room very quickly, and I felt the longer we waited, it was because someone else had a pet that was more ill than mine. I was allowed to be in the room with my dog during her exam, but opted to leave when they gave her the shots, since I can’t bear to watch anyone poke my puppy. The doctor was very nice and answered all my questions. All of the staff here was very nice. As I was walking my pup to go potty, I saw a dog being rushed in with a ball stuck in his throat. The staff jumped up when they saw the car pull up, and whisked the pup off immediately. I felt terrible for the owner and the dog. I was so relieved when we left to see the beautiful pup sitting in the waiting room with a big smile on his face, and a very relieved looking owner. I clearly wasn’t the only one that had a good experience here today. Yes, it was expensive, but you are paying for emergency care and that unfortunately doesn’t come cheap. My cost for the visit which included 2 shots to prevent the vomiting and dehydration, 2 cans of special food, and probiotics to bring home was approx. $240.00. I would take my pup back here again based on today’s visit. I felt like the whole staff really cared about her.

Our 18 year old cat Charlie recently took a turn for the worse on a weekend so out of necessity we called the Animal Referral Center (as recommended by our wonderful veterinarian Dr. Barker). The kitty was seen immediately and made comfortable. No complaints at all about his care - we were able to take him home with the understanding that his time was likely very short. Three weeks later - on a weekend again, our old boy got noticeably unhappy and we knew right away we had to let him go. Dr. Peters and Sydney were wonderful - caring and compassionate and we truly felt they cared about us and more importantly about the kitty. Charlie passed very peacefully in my arms. Emergency pet care is never going to be inexpensive - between the two visits we paid $900 but our old boy Charlie meant the world to us and we didn't hesitate. Thanks to everyone involved in his excellent care.

Brought my cat in on 9-9-17 with a severe injury. 1 hour and 25 minutes later they finally asked me if was ok to treat him. Staples look like a 6 year old put them in. My vet was not impressed. She told me that Appleton has a much better reputation. Will never bring Bentley back there again.

I'll give them credit for being a clean facility but that's about it. The staff was very robotic like and I kept getting looks from the front desk lady like i was out of place there because I wasn't rich or something. All they really care about is your money. I sat there for hours waiting and there were only two or three other people there, which means only one vet on staff at an emergency clinic and thats not good. I'm sure if they would have had to do any actual tests the prices would have skyrocketed. Where does all that money go anyway? Then they wouldn't even let me in the room while they did the exam. It took hours and hours while the cat just sat in a cage in the back and they charged so much just to check vitals? Who knows if they even examined my cat properly. I'm pretty sure my cat has an upper respiratory infection which they should have found out themselves her eyes were swollen and she was a bit wheezy and they just said that her vitals were okay. I wish I would have seen all the other reviews on here before because it was a complete waste of time and a waste of money.
