I've tried this place for togo 10 times, I even have a free meal on my punch card but the food and service are so very bad. I know they are trying to help people but this is shameful. The quality of the food at this price is just wrong. From the layout of the room to the service this is very poorly planned and operated.
I ordered my food togo which they said would be 25 minutes so I show up in 15 to be early but it takes 20+ minutes waiting in a line to pay while my food gets moist. Everywhere you stand to wait in line is in someone else's way. The line forms next to the trash which is crazy and not appetizing at all plus your standing looking at uncovered pies. How many people sneeze or cough while in line. It's odd.
There are tons of empty tables while elderly people are made to stand and wait in a line. It's so illogical to serve an older demographic but then make them stand for 20+ minutes to order food then wait for the food. While countless chairs and tables are empty. All so save a few dollars employee table service. If you are trying to help people employee some retired people on SSI who need a few more dollars to make ends meet. Instead you make hurting people stand and wait.
The food itself cost 25-50% more than Village Inn but is laughable when compared. We ordered french toast togo, once we saw how bad it was we went to Village Inn and it's crazy to better the chain restaurant is vs this high class foody place. The temps on the hamburgers weren't right and often were over cooked. The togo setup is very poor and makes for soggy food.
The main reason I kept coming back other than my punch card and it was the closest place to eat by my house was the beer battered fries which I really liked but after the last wait even trying them as soon as I got to the car it was too late they were soggy.
When I requested they fix their togo boxes the staff just say there's nothing they can do and give up in defeat. Which means they aren't supported by a quality management team.
Even for a free meal it will be months before I forget all the bad and go back.

Unique value and superp outdoor dining, enabled by being a retail branch of a much larger enterprise, the Hospice itself. Very well prepared fine dining items at half the price of others.

Great food for a great cause! Hospice touches many lives and this is an easy way to make a difference. Thank you for everything you do.

This was the second time coming to this pave for breakfast on Sunday. The first time was great, the staff was friendly and the food was good. This time was very much doom and gloom from the moment we walked in. The staff was all very hum drum, seemed miserable to be working there. Almost everyone of the staff members had made a mistake, like forgetting one lady's danish, then my husband's coffee cup. This wasn't a big deal though. I asked if they had lemons for water, the gentleman was really nice about it and said he would cut some and bring them out shortly. No problem, I went to our table and after a few minutes I walked back in to get my water and lemons. I stood patiently, not saying anything, I could see he was finishing up placing them in the bowl about to bring the lemons out. I overheard (not that it was said softly) one of the staff sarcastically say, "you better get those lemons out cause apparently the world is ending without them." She had no problem saying it plenty loud enough for me to hear. I then walked in to say something to the manager who was very sweet...I think perhaps the problem is she didn't require better, more professional and friendly behavior from her staff. The one person who was friendly and didn't act like it was an inconvenience to help the customers was the one gentleman working there. I wish I had gotten names...with all that said, they need to be better staffed and/or perhaps trained to have better attitudes since it didn't seem to be common sense to them. We ended up walking out after taking with the manager. I was happy about that too because the food liked awful, unlike the first time we went there. We won't be going back.

Great food and service. Found them on Yelp and they had excellent reviews. We were impressed. It's been years since I had a French dipped sandwich. It was worth the wait! Highly recommend stopping here for food during your travels.
