They turn away people from the LGBT community and make it extremely difficult/impossible for anyone with HIV to stay there. They also make attending their Christian church services mandatory in order to stay there. Hope Campus is a much better choice for the homeless.

They rarely answer phones. Most of the time I have had the person who did answer be rude. I have been hung up on multiple times. Apparently there is one person per position so no one else can help you with anything.

I'm low income on disability & go there to eat dinner when I do not have any food. They served dinner late tonight & therefore took de food away from me because they would not allow me to finish giving a shortened time
& Conveniently served on a paper plate could have turned his head & let me take it home but they do not allow you to take de food refusing me even under de circumstances. I have to walk an hour down town with injuries just to eat there in de first place. I have made several complaints to DHS asking for more food stamps because it is unlawful de way I have been treated in S.A. environment. DHS only acknowledged my appeal to send me to soup kitchens specifying S.A. Imagine how humiliated I am & hungry. I would also like to mention that I volunteered during de angel tree&on occasion & attend their women's church. Of course this was a man who did this to me tonight who is de same height as me yet I had to bend my neck to look him in de face as he was staring down at my breasts so hard. It was de fat short man with dark hair & glasses de one who does their TV review's for de news. So stingy of him. What a waste of food. That is what they are there for preaching no discrimination to bring people to God. I was starving after working out & running around town to pay my bills trying to get in shape amidst de junk food you Usually get from de soup kitchens. We had chicken & salad so this was actually a meal not just something b/c I was hungry & do not have food but something with vitamins & protein that I'm needing trying to overcome my weight issue & disability so that I can return to be a productive working class person again. I'm struggling spiritually & this was a very strong testimony for me tonight that God will not watch out for His children. This was a testimony for me against God that there is no God for who should watch for me but de evil hearts of man? I walked around de corner & there were people from another church passing out food down town. I found this to be a greater burden on my soul b/c they were giving hotdogs after they took my salad away from me a deficiency of nutritional value. This is not just about de food. This is about de point that matters. Their hearts are not with God. He is not even there to do de good works of man. Perverted. I hope he gets back what he did to me. How awful.
