On 11/23/16 I came here for a concert that was playing. The venue was awesome but the place reeked of pot, up your security! (I did fall in love with some more bands lol)

This place is a DUMP. Came here for a show and this venue was easily the worst concert experience I've ever had. People standing on the bar and on the equipment, stairs packed with people sitting on them. The temperature was sweltering, they clearly have no air in there. Little kids running around regardless of the 18 or younger area they had "set up". Security was so lax (several were clearly tweaking) people were aggressive, drunk to the point of passing out on the floor and some dude threw up (almost on my person) IN FRONT OF SECURITY and they just looked the other way.

So glad this place closed down! Now maybe we can have a chance at a nice place to have a night out.

I worked for Susan ( the owner of the top deck and the copper penny) at the copper penny. I was there for a month when I asked for time off. She agreed but wasn't happy about it. The time off was for surgery. I foolishly only asked for one day after my surgery. Quickly finding out that was not enough time. So I asked for ONLY 3 more days for recovery. She fired me. Now I hate the WHOLE family that owns the two places but there is a special amount of hatred towards the son who runs the top deck. On multiple occasions I have heard him say he couldn't care less about the customers. Once to me directly when I asked him why don't they have more metal and hardcore concerts come. Through. I told him there is plenty of fan base around here and he couldn't care less. This place needs to get shut the hell down.
