I think this place need better cook. The ribs we're alright so was the photato salad. But every thing else 😲. Not trying to say they need to quit , just saying do better please.

Im from kansas city and we take our bbq really serious. This place in evansville was my go to bbq for 5 years while I lived in Evansville. Highly recommend if you like kc bbq.

Entree was well-cooked and tasty. Side dish was out of a can. Building is old, but some may like the divey feel. Service was aloof, I think the waitstaff would rather I not have showed up.

Nice authentic place. Quiet on the Saturday lunchtime we visited. I bet they do a lot of takeout. I had the 1/2 lb pulled pork sandwich. It was just OK. DH and DS had the ribs and said they were better. Didn't taste very smoked to me, though. Really good vinegar-based slaw.
