Very impressive Clinic and definitely way above most subpar fly by night Juarez clinic that prey on foreigners sense of desperation and vulnerability for dental help. This clinic is a professionally operated state of the Arts facility; impeccably clean with better, newer more innovating dental equipment than my own clinic back home. Infection control seems to be quite a worry for many foreigners coming to Mexico but I can assure you that as a health care professional myself who is trained in following rigid infection control guidelines, I have thoroughly investigated their methods, equipment and sterilization lab to conclude that they do indeed adhere to following very strict protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
Key Players:
Dr. Moran: The owner of the Clinic, an American trained dentist with a very impressive portfolio and credentials. He is a Periodontist- specializing in the treatment of patient with periodontal disease. In the 5 years that I have been a patient I have only met him very briefly, a few times but staff always speak greatly of him and of his high standards and high regards for patient care.
Dr. Olmoz: root canal specialist/Endodontist who completed a root canal retreat on my tooth that was otherwise not savable! Not only did he save my tooth but he instilled in me trust and confidence in Mexican dentists.
Dr. Julio Nevarez Moncada, my present dentist, prosthodontist/implantologist/surgeon. He is a brilliant young dental health care professional with a promising future and a fan club of patients including myself!
Adriana: Dental assistant and qualified dentist. She is my assistant of preference with her deep dark mesmerizing eyes whom I found soothing and relaxing to stare at in the midst of an anxiety provoking dental treatment.
Edgar: very punctual, friendly yet professional and respectful family man/ driver who picks me up at my hotel and drives me to the clinic. Across the years he has not only been my reliable source of transportation but also somewhat of my therapist, listening to everything from work /life and relationship problems!!
Jessica: Receptionist who’s English is perfect and who’s polished and professional manners are very impressive! I have seen her manage very difficult people and situation with such impressive poise, restraint and patience! She has been there from the beginning and she is the person I prefer to deal with at the front desk.
Lori Shapiro: Nucleo’s newest addition, office manager, a delightfully pleasant and socially skilled woman who in despite of her friendliness takes her job, responsibilities and attention to details quite seriously. She is the self proclaimed “office Bulldog” making sure that her staff follow proper protocol. In my opinion she is more like an angel, looking after her patient’s well being during their experience at the clinic
There are several other specialists at Nucleo dental including an Orthodontist, a general dentist, a pedodontist…. They even have their own Lab!!

The staff at Nucleo Dental, along with the completed work I had done by Dr Julio Nevarez was outstanding!! Many thanks to Lori Shapiro, the patient coordinator who did a great job in assisting me with the help that I needed!! The work I had done was a total of 14 zirconia crowns and an implant...I highly recommend Nucleo Dental in Juarez!! Thank you Nucleo Dental!!😊🤗👍

If you're thinking about having dental work done in Juarez, I wouldn't hesitate to use Nucleo Dental. No worries for border crossing, helpful staff, professional atmosphere, excellent work by Dr Moran. No se preocupe.

I have been seeing Julio and Moran for a few years now and they have been wonderful. I am giving them a 3 due to lack of El Paso Number. I need to schedule an apt., for a crown that needed to be put on. Using tablet, because of phone locking me out. Also we just moved, making my stuff impossible to find. If anyone knows the US # please share. My mom has been going there longer than I, but she is unreachable at the moment. Please help someone.

I am preparing for my second visit to Nucleo Dental and my only regret is waiting as long as I did to make that appointment! I live in the Dallas area and did a great deal of research before making the commitment to travel to Juarez.
I began major dental reconstruction in November,2014 with extractions, bone grafting, and implants. My experience has been comfortable, confident and completely pain-free! My second visit will consist of additional implants and crowns. VERY excited!
If you are considering implants or any major dental work, do not hesitate to call Nucleo Dental. You will find the entire staff professional, courteous, and friendly. The work I received far exceeded my expectations!
The clinic is in a very safe area of Juarez and the two motels directly across the street are both very nice. (Hampton Inn and City Express) Edgar will pick you up from the El Paso Airport and drive you safely to the Motel.
If you're looking for experience and EXPERTISE in dentistry at a very fair price, Check them out! I'm SO glad I did :)
