Hostess and wait staff need to communicate better. I enjoyed myself though. The sweet potatoes were so on point! Got to get dessert & drinks next time. Tune up Man keep the party going.
DON'T think you won't tip though...they include gratuity with a party of two!!!!

Unprofessional... called them Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock and the phone just rung and rung... No answer, no answering machine no anything... called 7 times in 20 minutes.. they close 8 o'clock on Sunday... very unprofessional...
I've eaten here before and the food is actually good but on several occasions I've been giving the wrong sides... whenever I order dressing and greens I get macaroni and cheese and potato salad as if they figure that's what everybody wants...

Frequented Southern Fire before the remodeling and was super stoked to go back. The furniture and decor is wayyy better than what it used to be, but I guess that your paying for the renovations through the price increase in the food.
Sides are expensive and so it the minuscule sliver of corn bread they serve you. Our server was pleasant enough, but its just not the same and the prices are what is going to stop me from recommending or returning myself.
If you want to charge hefty prices as least give larger portions since this is clearly not a 5 star fine dining experience.

Nice atmosphere!!!great music Love the new remolding of the place. But the food was not as good as it use to be, it has to be a new chef. I don't mind spending money on food, But, it's a little over priced as well for what you get. I went on a Sunday and it was not crowded so I should have known then. Not rushing to get back.
