First time there I ordered the Ruben sandwich. I would have to say it was the best I've had. Very friendly staff. Clean place to sit and eat. Great place over all.

Eat there regularly. One of the best familt restaurant I have ever had. The Fish and Chips are the I've ever had. Nelson

Loved their open-faced hot sandwiches until they served me chunks of chore-boy with it 3 years ago. Unfortunately I didn't see some of them until after I'd swallowed some. They were very apologetic. Took me a year to get the nerve to go bac. For breakfast quality had gone down and trashier crowd was there.

The food is lack luster but waitresses and staff are courteous and helpful. The building itself looks like it needs a serious update. Its hit or miss when they're actually open.

This review is about the owners. This is a place where not only is the food great from other reviews, but I have a very special kudo about the women who is the owner. My car broke down yesterday on Michigan Ave and I had to have it pushed into their parking lot. I had no phone on me and was very nervous about trying to get help. The women owner, I wished I got her name (Sorry), not only help me in borrowing her phone, she even helped me get a very reliable tow truck company to get it towed (Gene's Towing, on Dix Dr). I never felt so relieved and she help me to be more at ease. I just want to thank her for helping a total stranger in their time of need. It really help me believe that there are still good people in this world and I thank GOD she and Rick from Gene's Towing, were there to help me in my time of need. God bless both of you!
