It's a far cry from how it used to be. I have had a lot of good memories here. They have cool decorations, the salad bar is set into an old truck, and the food used to be pretty good, but my recent visits have put a bad taste in my mouth. First of all: a warning for the gluten free people. Their gluten free "pasta" is rice noodles like you get in the Asian section at Hy-Vee. Bland and flavorless. This time I ordered the pesto sauce and I tasted no pesto at all. It was mostly water and not very warm. My mom didn't finish her lasagna. My sister didn't finish her pizza either. It just wasn't good food. I ordered cheesecake and because I was expecting it to taste plain, I ordered fudge on the side. Unfortunately, I didn't get it on the side. The plain cheesecake by itself was as cheap and tasteless as can be, but the "fudge" was more like slightly thicker Hershey's syrup. It tasted like corn syrup more than chocolate. I've had much better fudge at Dairy Queen. Our waitress was terrible. She looked like she hated her job. We were very friendly, and I was hoping to at least get a smile out of her, but she didn't even look at us like we were people. And this was before the bad food. It least the food was brought to us fairly quickly. Two stars only because it used to be good years ago. If this was my first time, I would have given it a one star rating.

I love this place and have been going here my whole life! It’s a really great place and they have fast service. Also, they have a Coca Cola freestyle machine so there is a wide variety of drinks. I recommend!

This is a nice place to go for lunch but don't go here if you're looking for delicious, authentic Italian food. It's a step above fast food Italian. Decent prices at lunch and I appreciate the salad bar. Good service.

If you're looking for "authentic" Italian, you will want to try elsewhere, but I enjoy what Spaghetti Works offers. A small, but fresh, salad bar and Americanized takes on all of your Italian pasta favorites. My personal go-to on the menu is a build-your-own, all-you-can-eat pasta plate. You choose your pasta, which can be anything from spaghetti to bowtie to whole wheat. Next add a sauce selection: think marinara, pesto, Alfredo, or my favorite, hot and naked, which is a garlicky, buttery olive oil concoction. Finally, top your pasta with selections such as Italian sausage, meatballs, or my favorite, button mushrooms. This is all served with a big basket of grilled garlic bread. One thing is for certain, you will not leave hungry.

Just visiting and my family was able to find awesome seating. I love the salad bar made from an old model-t. The service was about 90% as it seemed they seemed out of it. A true pasta restaurant makes you leave hungry for more. It did that for me. I hope they're here next time I visit.
