I was real excited to try this restaurant. The food was good. Service NOT so good. The waiter was in a terrible mood and took it out on us.
we tipped the bar tender when we left the bar, our drink order was transferred to our tab. I subtracted the amount we tipped the bar staff from the total. Just check my account, I was charged $20.00 more than my receipt shows. Not enough to jump through hoops for, but not cool...

Always great food. Atmosphere is a bit louder but desserts are worth it. Check out the happy hour at the bar as well!

grew up on East Side of Des Moines but live in Wisconsin. We travel a lot and always looking for great restaurants and appreciate variety. Alba fills the bill. creative menu, great cooking and super friendly staff. I really want to return to try the beef rib stroganoff..it was just to warm the day we were there. my husband did order the gnocchi and it was amazing.

Best tea in town. Huge variety of teas to please anyone and everyone - even people who don't think they are into tea. Want to try some before you buy? They'll brew some up for you. Great selection, great prices, great atmosphere, AMAZING service.

Josiah was a kick ass bar tender. Extremely knowledgeable on all of their plates. Short rib plate was unreal! Best risotto I have ever eaten. Excellent service! And the crazy part is, the lead chef is only 23 years old and cooks like he's been a chef for 20 years!
