Definitely southern, definitely hospitable. However, I've never eaten something there that seemed remarkable in any way. A lot of my friends frequent the place though.

Horrible service the moment we walked in the door. The waitress didn't attend to us and had to ask for our drinks twice. Drinks never came. They were just two coronas. We left! Also, the seats need to be replaced. They are in poor shape. I was wearing a dress and the tears in the seats scratched my legs. Horrible experience!!! Will not recommend or ever go there again.

WOW best brunch I've been to so far.
The chicken and waffles is to die for.. so is the bananas foster. I had the bottomless mimosas and a blackberry mule, they were both great.
Service was phenomenal, never went without anything and the drinks truly were bottomless!
Will definitely be back.

If you are visiting on the weekend probably best to make a reservation just in case. The place gets pretty busy as it has some great food. Probably some of the best southern food I have had in a while. The restaurant is really nice and very interesting decor. They have a bar in the basement that is well worth checking out when open.

Always impressive and great tasting food. Very popular on the weekends for brunch, but worth it in every way. I've only been in the morning, but would love to try their dinner some time. The huevos ranchers is a solid option and one of my higher rated ones in the city. Best thing is the variety; for a brunch place, there's a ton of options for everyone.
