Good food and wine. The food was mostly great, and low-key. Not a lot of snooty dishes, and pizzas that were larger than most Italian-style pizza, and delicious. I had the lamb salad, and it was excellent. I had the house wines, as well as tried some of the better vintages. All of the wine was well-selected: hats off the sommelier! In particular, the house white is exactly the kind of deliciously drinkable wine that you could continue to drink late into the night as you talk with friends.
There are two downsides, one literal. One of my friends is differently-abled, and had to ride a freight elevator rather than face a daunting set of steep steps into the restaurant. Leave your grandma at home, unless she is too addled to realize that she is being whisked into the restaurant like a side of meat. The other downside was the noise. Osteria Marco is another one of those Denver restaurants that have not figured out the acoustics of their dining room.
Bring rowdy friends here for a mid-priced dinner with some good value wine, but do not bring a business meeting of any kind. You will spend half the meal attempting to figure out if it is worth-it to ask your colleagues to repeat themselves.

Phenomenal food, excellent service, great atmosphere! This is definitely a must try if you like Italian Food. Their food is always fresh and delicious. I always take friends and family here. The only thing I recommend is making a reservation for the weekend! They fill up! Sometimes they have "Community" seating which you will be sat at a table with other folks; not bad if you don't sitting next to other people.
But this place is truly an experience!

There's a reason this place is nearly 5 stars. Great unique food (try their fig & goat cheese pizza). Reasonable prices. Atmosphere to spare. Character-rich location. Easy to reserve a spot on Open Table. What's not to love?

Cozy and warm atmosphere downstairs in this gem of a find off Larimer Square. We were served by the bartender during a weekday lunch and he was very attentive and helpful. Delicious food and tons of options (including imported ans housemade cheeses and meats). Would love to come again and enjoy a dinner here

Wonderful place to dine. I like the atmosphere. Every appetizer I've ordered is top. I love the bruschetta, cheese and meat plates, artichoke dip (not for the very hungry), the bread. Almost always get the pizza. A favorite is the Arugula and Prosciutto it's great and tried the Sausage this time. Does not disappoint. Great service too.
