I've eaten here several times over the past few years and they never disappoint. The portions are always generous, and the food is great. If you ever even think of going to axum, don't. Come here.

My cousin took me to this place a few days ago. It's very simple in decor but the food was great and the service was too. One great thing about the food, is their injera is the way I like it, which is that it is more thin than most other places in Denver. Also they got great Ethiopian tea! If you like Ethiopian food and are on the East side I really recommend the place.

We just had our wedding reception at Habesha and Ammanuel, the owner, was amazing. He was there the whole night, making sure everything went well. He set up the buffet for us and we had so many guests comment on how amazing the food was! I've never been to an Ethiopian restaurant that serves the amazing purple cabbage dish they have - just delicious! Know that when you go, you will get amazing food and ill be supporting a fantastic local business :)

Traditional Experience! Delicious! We went in because some of my friends had never had Ethiopian food before. The food was delicious, the coffee was made traditionally in a pot and was awesome. We ordered the combo plates and just dug in. The beer and wine was pretty good. My only real complaint would be the waitress clearly did not speak English at all, but if you want traditional Ethnic food, I think you should almost expect a scenario like that might be plausible. Loved it and will definitely be back!

Wow, our first experience eating Ethiopian food and what a find. Loved everything about it. Highly recommend it. Excellent food, good service and reasonable prices. Although we went at a quite time, I am sure it is quite the lively atmosphere with music and entertainment in the evning.
