It was a Wednesday and it wasn't that busy so we were able to find parking and be seated quickly. The good came came in good time and looked wonderful and was hot. All food that we ate had good flavor but the brisket was tough and dry. The ribs were good but not fall off the bone good. Over all it was a good visit I guess you'd say.

Awesome place! Went on a Friday evening. Staff very customer oriented. Friendly.. attentive. Good place to eat with the family. Tons of sauces to choose from. Rib tips were a bit dry not as tender as expected or thought. Not a bad place. Food for kids were reasonable. They didn't get refills on drink which was a bummer. Waitress only checked on us before handing over check. That could have been inproved. Ordered drinks from bar, which were tasty. Great atmosphere.

We got seated right away, Me and my husband ordered the dine for two on Tuesday for only $30 and everything was melt in your mouth delicious! We couldn't finish everything but it made a good breakfast the next morning! Also, our waitress Kiki was generous on the drinks and super helpful with what sides to order! If you want good barbecue, go here! Famous Dave's knows how it's done, the right way!

After reading the reviews on here, I decided to give Famous Dave's a chance. I ordered the Texas Brisket, and having just moved to Denver from Texas, I was hoping for something great. What I got was not brisket. It looked like the meat in a fast food burger and I could tell the "smoke ring" was fake and it had been shipped to the store pre-sliced, I hardly ate anything off my plate, it is a huge leap to even call this brisket. The only thing it had going for it was the sauce.
The restaurant itself is tacky in its decor, the staff was mediocre, and the other customers included screaming children to which the parent made no attempts to quiet the child. I will never step foot in this place again.

AWESOME service & food!!! Had the Sampler Platter (rib tips, chicken wings, catfish fingers, chicken tenders & onion strings) & could only eat about 1/3 of it. Have enough leftovers for at least 2 more meals. The only complaint I have was the collard greens & the catfish fingers. Soggy collard greens & not flavorful, like most I've had in the past. Catfish tasted like dirt & had a VERY strong fish flavor, unlike any I've had in the past. Oh well, can't expect everything to be perfect. 👍
