Maybe the staff is better now, but I went here on a few occasions and every single time the Female Budtenders were so passive aggressive that even though they do have great Marijuana, It's not worth the subtle disrespect. Plus, Doesn't top shelf mean the best? Yet they have a connoisseur shelf as really their top shelf, Slightly shady. Places like this make me miss Illegal Marijuana, Sad.

What happened? This use to be the best spot in town. Now that they've raised prices, their quality has taken a nose-dive. Whatever you were doing before the summer, go back to it. Whatever changed besides prices isn't working. Won't be back.

About seven months ago I started going to the joint as their price to quality ratio was the best I had found. However, over the last few months the quality of all shelves has drastically declined especially after the INCREASE in prices of all shelves. Paying more for lower quality is inexcusable. Six months ago I would have given a 5 star rating but due to the rapid decline in quality and raising of prices I would recommend going to another dispensary as this location has placed profits above quality and customer satisfaction. I used to be able to pick up buds that tested over 25% THC off of the "top shelf" and now the connoisseur shelf and premium shelf struggle to reach that. Telling me it "doesn't matter" is just a lazy writing off of quality control. I have smoked legal bud in CO for over 3 years and percentages most definitely make a difference in potency. I have emailed them directly about this issue and I was told that "customers prefer lower testing strains"...clearly not if I was making a direct complaint about it, as have many others. I was offered a 10% discount for my troubles...which I already receive for being a veteran, I don't want a discount, I want the bud to not decline in quality every time I go there. I'll be moving my business to other dispensaries that offer equal or greater quality product for significantly cheaper prices until The Joint returns to the same quality they had in the past.

Bud quality is average, staff and atmosphere is cold, feels like no one wants to be there, they close MED at 9.30PM but when you call at 9.28PM, no one would tell you that, it is advertised to 9.45PM on every online outlet, sorry my job did not let me get there earlier! No Parking in the front, you have to be lucky that the side street has a spot, if not, prepare for a good old fashion Colorado hike. $65 for a quarter of badly trimmed Gorilla Glue, need I say more? I will not return here.

Really nice, rec/med, non-corporate shop with a terrific staff, wonderful selection and very reasonable prices. I've tried most of the shops closer to me (I live in Arvada) but the longer drive is simply worth it. If you're in a wheelchair like me, you'll appreciate the time they'll take to dial you in to something special. With easy parking and the ramp in back (call if you need it) access is easy compared to many dispensaries in older buildings that don't appear to be accessible. GO FOR IT!!!
