I had my left foot reconstructed due to severe Rheumatoid Arthritis . Unfortunately was sent home with MRSA. After the rejection of the metal plate I had a Below Knee Amputation. All this because Diabetics need a Podiatrist to trim the toenails. Dr B.C. saw my feet scheduled surgery in 7 days AND forgot my pedicure. Make sure you ask about sanitation of their surgical tools. MRSA IS WHAT YOU DON'T WANT TO BRING HOME, THANKS WRHS! I must add, after over 4yrs of Wound Care, located in the West Campus (old hospital) the staff and I have gone through hell trying to save my right leg, MRSA also, yet still put up with my attitude & that horrible infection. Always smiling, always optimistic and carding staff! Hat's off to all of the nurse's and the #1 Dr. Chris Mcgee .. ***** for Wise Regional Health System Wound Care Center!

I had surgery and I've been off for 6 weeks so I go to worksteps to so I can go back to work and take a drug test only to find out that the drug test they forgot a signature or something which delayed me going back to work, 4 Days to find out about a drug test HOLY SMOKES! !!!!!!!! and then my employer finally found out that they didn't say anything so I'm here waiting to go back to work and I can't my employer says just go back and take a drug test again so I'm thinking okay just to find out that they're closed at noon on Fridays and no indication of any times or anything that they're closed,of course I could have called but how would I know????? Usually when you call a Hospital good luck even trying to get through to the right department now one thing I will say that the staff to go the extra mile to try to get a drug test done but I can only go through the worksteps drug test ,so I have to wait till 8 o'clock Monday morning to pee in a cup again then another 48 hours to wait so I can go back to work. .........wow WTF?????? Pure and simple BS

Great facilities...horrible staff. The nurses would rather do homework text buy scentsy or do pretty much anything other than help patients in a prompt and timely manner. Its so sad to see people who should be working at fast food restaurants in charge of peoples day to day well being and life.
