This place is one of the gems of Dallas. Anytime that anyone I know is visiting Dallas/Fort Worth, I bring them here. It is my most favorite Italian food place. The best part about this restaurant would be the staff, who is wonderful to work with, and second is the Trolley Car inside! You can eat on an actual Trolley Car! 11/10 will get fat on meatballs again.

As we entered the couple who came in at the same time got seated quickly but we were left waiting for a few minutes because the host never came back. Yet there were plenty of staff around but none to tell us if we needed to wait a few minutes for a table or anything. Eventually, I think the manager?, came by and had someone seat us. The staff was friendly, no complaints there. The place needs to be badly renovated. There was a bad bad smell!
The waiter was really nice got us drinks and food. Kept asking if we needed anything.
Now my plate, spicy shrimp pasta Al fresco, had no flavor what so ever! The pasta tasted just like pasta, not spicy, no flavor, nothing. The shrimp did have flavor but it kind of tasted weird? The amount of pasta given was a huge amount and it had two skewers of shrimp(6 on each). The only things I ate were the shrimp, salad, and bread. Lol
My bf had ordered his plate, I don't remember what it was called but it had a variety, and there was no problem with it.
It was our first time at this specific location but I wouldn't return. :(

This is the original location that I remember from my childhood. The reason for the 4 star review is that they changed the inside atmosphere. They use to have really interesting old signs, tools and things all over the walls... Even the chandeliers had a back story. I have no idea why they got rid of all of it... The food and the staff are still top notch, but with the redecoration, they kind'a ruined the amazing memories that this place was famous for.

The staff was brilliant and helpful. The new GM was eager to help out our party in any way he could. We were a big party with very hungry girls who had just had a terrible experience with another restaurant nearby. We were a storm already brewing. However, everyone went out of their way to get us seated and served as quickly as possible. Food was wonderful. Large portions that are reasonably priced. Our bartender was amazingly personable and great service as well!

I went here many times back in high school. It's still just as good! I love that they changed the entrance to make it more open and inviting. We had the best waiter! Definitely will come back and ask for George!
