My best friend and I have been coming the past three years for the chef's tasting. Tonight was excellent as always. The girl who was taking our plates away rushed us a little but our server Vickie was amazing and funny.
Also if you have any allergies or picky like no raw food, they are willing to work with you.
TIP: nobu will validate your parking.

One of the best Japanese cuisine restaurants around. While this is truly "upscale" in every sense of the word, the experience is excellent and worth the price. It offers some of the most unique and delicious small plates and drinks.

We had the chef's tasting menu. It was very good. The portion sizes were just right and very flavorful.

We enjoyed a chefs tasting menu. Almost all of it was exceptional, except the beef dish which was chewy and at best mediocre. The black cod was other worldly and even details such as the phenomenonal soy sauce and amazing Wasabi were enough to come back for. Must mention that the beef dish was sent back and was handled very gracefully. The dessert was beautifully prepared with exquisite attention to detail and texture.

Good Food...Mediocre Cocktails...Disappointing Service
Monthly cocktails and dinner at Nobu with 6 friends . Lovely atrium view from the back dining area. Wide variety of sushi rolls, fresh seafood dishes. Various cocktails were tasty but weak, even at $14 apiece. Some minutes after all my companions had their entrees delivered, our waiter Diego approached me and asked if I was waiting for food. I then realized he had forgotten to submit my order. I ended up starting to eat as everyone else was finishing, and finishing as everyone else was completing dessert. I realize waitstaff make mistakes, but at this price point ($50 for the lobster and shrimp entree) I expected much more. No offer for anything to make up for the oversight, either, like a simple, comped dessert. Overall I was left with a general sense of disappointment. Too many other great sushi restaurants in Dallas, none of us will return to Nobu.
