Was excited to try a new place with gluten free options. Unfortunately, we got gluten and will be paying the consequences. Some sort of miscommunication between the waitress and the kitchen. If you do go for their gluten free options note that they come on black plates. They did comp some of the meal in an attempt to make up for the mistake, but we weren't impressed enough to tempt fate again.

Good wine, great service at the bar. Good atmosphere. Loved the cheese board. Did not love that a few pieces of proccuito cost $9 extra!

First time going to Max's Wine & Dive...and my Husband and I had a great time!! Food was delicious, service was good and the music...oh my the music was FANTASTIC! We will be back!

We recently went during brunch and their recipes have changed. Everything tastes a little different...not as great as it was, but still good. Our server was polite and attentive to make for a pleasant experience.

I was delighted to find a Brut Rose sparkling wine on the menu for a reasonable price that was really delicious. More full bodied and complex than most of the Brut Roses out there. The appetizers were tasty. We tried the deviled eggs, brochette, and one of the charcuterie plates. I was a little shocked when the tab came how much "damage" we did. It was a great spot though to catch up with a friend after not seeing him for a long time. Service was friendly. I like the dim lighting. Location is right in tourist central but as others have mentioned, doesn't have a "touristy" feel to it. I'll be back.
