Lively atmosphere at night & deserted during the day. Kinda the best of both worlds. Mornings have locals in sweatpants before work. Nights they have events and a variety of things to do. They have music & food its a big (2 city block) park. Dog park is REALLY small though & none of the dog fountains work.

When we lived in Dallas this was one of the best places to go and just chill. I would take my kids there whenever we needed to get out because there was always something going from Medieval Times Knights putting on a free show, to meeting zoo animals, to playing with slime from the Perot. Loads of food trucks plus ice cream or Steel City Pops. Even when I worked downtown this was the best walk to take for a breather. It's a really great addition the area.

One of the best things about Dallas. A beautifully maintained green space with plenty to do and tons of free events year-round. Friendly for kids and dogs and dates. Lots of food options; clean facilities. Once you come on a nice fall day, you'll want to be here all the time.

Fun place to go on a beautiful day for a picnic, food trucks or the restaurant (inside is pricey). There is plenty of space to sit in the grass or at small bistro tables. There is also a kids playground or a grassy area for frisbees/footballs/soccer balls (bring your own). Additionally on the side closest to 75 there are ping pong tables!
CONS: PARKING and when there are large events here the bathroom lines are long.

Love this park! Always something fun going on. My girls enjoy the water fountains and food trucks! Great place for a family to spend some outdoor fun. Bonus: FREE.
Only problem is finding parking but I've always been lucky to find parking as soon as I pull up.
