Reviews here seem mixed, but I'll share my experience. We went in yesterday evening to check if they had any heroclix. We looked around and they had a pretty good selection of boardgames, a massive selection of comics, and a small wall of heroclix. No complaints.

The two men working didn't aknowledge us when we walked in, which kind of threw us for a loop. They were talking about soccer and drinking I believe. We got to the heroclix area and it's behind a small glass counter with some of the more expensive, rare heroclix in the counter itself. Looked at those ones for a minute, then wanted to look at the ones we could actually afford and justify buying. Behind this counter was just a shelf of 10-20 different packs of heroclix. There was also some clutter so it didn't seem like a sales station or a restricted area. Naturally, we were looking at them. Still no aknowledgement from the staff. Kind of felt awkward like we weren't welcomed. Until finally, one guy aknowledges us with a "uh guys, whatcha doing back there?". I replied we were looking at the heroclix to which he tells us we're not allowed back there.... Ok. It made me and my friend very uncomfortable. We were both clearly in plain site just looking at the characters.

Now if there were rules clearly stated not to pass a line or a worker was standing there actually doing his job and helping us see these things, I would understand. But their conversation was more important than helping what would have been paying customers. Personally I don't plan on stopping here again. Big Fun on High has comic books and the staff is much better, and the Soldiery and the Guard Tower are both much better in terms of boardgame and tabletop collections. Plus, both establishments seem to aknowledge their guests.

Good selection of comic books, but the variety of board games is very limited.

I called ahead about selling some cards and they said they were interested. I drove in, about an hour drive one way, and after about 10 minutes sorting through my multiple decks they decided they wernt interested in a single card. This is also after I had to pay for parking garage parking.
They DID however have a huge comic book selection. So if that's what you're after you'll be happy.

It's a nice little shop with a good selection for the size they are, I don't care for comics but I do care about Magic the Gathering and other games. Prices are a bit on the high side, still not unreasonable though, but that's expected for a place in the convention center. They sell some Japanese sweets there too, but I'd recommend you'd go to one of Columbus' many Asian grocery stores instead if you want that kind of thing.
