Kind'a retro, cool place, maybe a little too hipster(for an old guy), but it's Short North. But, overall the menu is tasty. A few interesting items to peak your interest, with a couple comfort foods with a twist. Oysters, Shrimp and grits, killer fried chicken, and a Korean style-entree. All good!

Service staff seemed a bit thin that night and many tables around us were sitting, waiting for refills or checks. Our first delivery of food was cold but after getting it the second time - we were happy with our meal. The food was delicious! Hopefully they can work out the kinks in service and food to match the beautiful surroundings.

Never a disappointment. Great service, amazing food. Always look forward to returning. My all time favorite thing to do with my daughter on our Ohio University Mom's weekend. Eat everything Cameron Mitchell.

We loved The Pearl. The atmosphere was inviting and the food was surprising. The menu has some fairly simple dishes. Mostly in the way that you know what you're getting. But then, when the food comes it is brilliantly presented. You order the cornbread and you expect a block of cornbread. But then it comes in the dish that it was baked in, while on a wood platter with a butter pool filled with honey. Every dish was like that. And the service was great. And awesome spot in Columbus.

Loved this experience! Had tater tots (home made - excellent), lamb meatballs (great flavor) and the house burger (amazing patty - really got a good meat blend). We also got to try the baked and raw oysters - sublime. On top of that the beer list was FANTASTIC - talking to our man, Dan, we really appreciated the effort they have gone to, on order to get an amazing representation of beers.
The liquor cabinet looked stocked with more than the usual too, so don't be surprised if unique cocktails are on offer.
Definitely recommended - great job pearl team!
