This office is only getting a 3 because of the doctors.
The doctors are great, but the nurses are very apathetic when you actually need something. If you miss your deadline for lab work, they don't care what you are going through or have been going, they will lecture you on your condition. In reality, you know more about it than they do, so the lecture is not needed when I say "I understand. I've been dealing with this condition for 15+ years now." And they expect you to know to call in directly (when they hardly ever return your calls) when you need a prescription renewed because "they have elderly patients." Not to mention, if you miss your lab work deadline, they will refuse to renew your medication, until your labwork is faxed to them. It doesn't matter if you have already done your part by getting the bloodwork done. Instead of helping you get your results, they will force you to call where your got your labwork back to tell them to fax it here...again.
So if you don't mind nurses who talk to you and scold you like a child, this is the place for you. Otherwise, if you want quality doctors AND nurses, stick to Duke or Emory.

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 4 years ago and it has been really hard to find a doctor who believes in FM. Lexington Rheumatology believes in FM and all the symptoms that come with it. FM symptoms are different for everyone. The staff is awesome!! Don't understand others complaints, especially the perfume. They request that none is worn and did not have allergy problems like I usually do just going into a store. Dr. Bruce is amazing. She listens and understands my problems. She is the most caring doctor and is on your side to help you feel better and is willing to help you get some quality of life without all the pain and fatigue. Eddie, her nurse is fantastic, too!! I was in so much pain and in tears but he made me feel like I was someone not just another patient or a number.
I recommend this facility to anyone with FM/CFS, RA, OA, or just arthritis in general!! This place is a God sent!!

Staff was thoughtless. Doctor seemed indifferent. Smae experience with strong perfume and asthma.
